Organic produce stall
Run jointly with OrganicLea, much of the produce is grown at their site in Chingford.
Making it easy to buy healthy locally grown food that nourishes body and soul.
What's on the stall?
Produce will vary with the seasons, but always includes a variety of vegetables, fruit and salads.
There are also usually eggs, sourdough bread and a selection of dry goods.
Every Saturday (except maybe at Christmas), from 10am to 2.30pm.
Behind St John's Church on the High Road (the paved area between the church and Matalan).
Transition Leytonstone runs the stall in collaboration with OrganicLea, a workers' cooperative with their own growing site in Chingford. A lot of the produce is grown there, with the rest being sourced from as close to London as possible.
All the produce is organically grown and packaging is kept to a minimum (and reused whenever possible).
The stall relies upon volunteers. If you're passionate about local, organic, packaging-free healthy food and would like to find out more about volunteering on the stall, please email RoseMary at email@example.com.
