Library for Change
All things Transition, permaculture, environment, nature, social justice and more.
Welcome to Waltham Forest's only Library for Change!
Register in person or online. You can then borrow books for free.
If there is a specific book you'd like to enquire about, please email Ros: library@transitionleytonstone.org.uk
We are now keen to expand the library, and although we do have some funds for this, we are asking for your help first in case you have one of the books we're looking for and are not planning to read it again.
Here is a list of some of the books we're looking for, and it would be wonderful to find these:
-
How Did we get into this Mess, by George Monbiot
-
The Unselfish Spirit, by Mick Collins
-
The Transition Handbook, by Rob Hopkins
- Powerdown: Options and Actions for a Post-Carbon World, by Richard Heinberg
- How to Read the Landscape, by Patrick Whitefield
However, if you have any other relevant books you'd like to donate, that fit in with our themes, please email us the titles and authors and we'll let you know if they're suitable.
