DC Interiors

DC Interiors is a family run business selling and fitting carpets and flooring. They are strong on recycling and re-use. Carpets are usually delivered to them as rolls wrapped in plastic, some of which is already made from recycled materials, and all of which is recycled once the carpets are fitted. A lot of the Underlays used are made from recycled material, some from used car tyres. Offcuts of underlay are recycled, and offcuts of carpet, and tube inserts are passed on to people who can re-use them wherever possible.
All wood products are FSC accredited. Staff are happy to meet the rising demand for natural products, such as wood and sisal.
Some of the staff live locally and travel to work using public transport, or walking, with one arriving on a skateboard. They try and avoid the use of plastic in the shop, using a water cooler with no plastic cups.
