Cann Hall Masjid

As a place of worship, Cann Hall Masjid welcomes Muslim women and men at all times when open. This is, however, also a hub for the whole community.
The Masjid has open days, when all are welcome and where food is often served. They have stopped using plastic, and all cutlery, plates and mugs are metal and are washed and reused. Food is not wasted, and any surplus will be given away, some through the food bank that they run.
As well as classes related to Islam, they run other classes open to all, including fitness and ju-jitsu. They host talks on a variety of topics. A cycling club and a walking group are planned.
There is a large garden, with flowers and also fruit and vegetables. Local people are welcome to enjoy the space and to help with gardening. Children are encouraged to learn about plants.
