Wanted: Waste watchers!

What’s Cookin’ Picnic

Sunday 22nd July

Henry Reynolds Gardens

At last year’s What’s Cookin’ Picnic mountains of mixed waste were left around, or flung into the nearest bin, in spite of there being special bins for recycling. The organisers have asked Transition Leytonstone to help minimise waste this year. We’ve come up with a few weird and wonderful ideas that we’d like to share with you.

We need some people to come forward now, willing to spend a few hours at the picnic and encourage people to reduce waste and recycle creatively.

If you’d like to take part, want to find out more, or have ideas of your own you’d like to share with us, please contact Diana: events@transitionleytonstone.org.uk Tel: 07747 014235

All helpers will receive food and drink vouchers for use at the picnic – What are you waiting for?
